I've normally downloaded through Origin, but I don't have internet on the computer I'm attempting to download it on now. I've stopped downloading to clean the disk (it was pretty bad, I got to only a little bad) once to see if maybe that was the problem, but that didn't seem to help at all. I was able to get the loader to allllmost completely download, its probably 95ish% right now, through hitting retry in which it would jump in completion status (I'm assuming it was downloading the rest of what it could), in which the Caches error eventually stopped showing, but that stopped working, and is showing the error much more frequently now. I hit retry and it jumps to the next one, and repeats the error message cycle. I started getting the message "Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check) for both files \Caches\Sunset Valley.objectCashe and then Thumbnails:\AllThumbnails.package. I've been trying to install The Sims 3 base game through the disk, (my poor other computer died).
